Full list of Veritask features

  • Available on all platforms: iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, MacOS, etc.
  • Tasks can be organized into separate "workspaces". The workspace may represent a client, a project, a business, etc.
  • You can add up to 500 other users (the "team") to work together on tasks. Each user may have his own Veritask account (so, he can create his own workspaces and add his team users as well)
  • No need to wait for team users to accept your invitation. Moreover, users, created by you, are not obliged to use Veritask app — in this case, you can run everything alone, distributing tasks between them just to track who does what
  • Each workspace has its own users access configuration. There are 3 levels of access: "basic" (the user can only view tasks assigned to him, add comments, attach files, report task completion, he can't edit task details), "add tasks" (the user can create his own tasks, edit them, assign to other team members), "admin" (unrestricted access to all tasks)
  • Task details may include: title, description, address, GPS coordinates, due date and time, assignee (s), price, color label, checklist (sub-tasks), spent time
  • Address automatically defines GPS coordinates
  • GPS coordinates are automatically geocoded into address
  • Spent time field can be used for time tracking
  • Phone numbers, emails, usernames, and URLs inside tasks automatically become tappable links. Start a call or chat via WhatsApp, Telegram, or another messaging app instantly
  • Every manipulation with the task (changes, updates) is logged
  • Users may add comments and attach files (photos, videos, other files) to the task
  • When the task assignee adds notes or attachments, or report task completion, their GPS location is logged
  • Task checklist may include any number of simple to-dos (the assignee just needs to mark them as completed), or results proof requests (3 types of your choice): the assignee is then asked to upload a live camera photo (gallery images not allowed), an image (from gallery) or a file to complete the checklist item. The task could be marked as completed only after all checklist items are completed
  • Task self-assignment. The task may be left unassigned initially. In this case it’s "open" to all workspace users. The first user who claims it, becomes the assignee. This feature can be used to create a kind of private order (task) exchange inside the team (employees claim most suitable tasks themselves)
  • Repeated tasks (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)
  • Reminders. Each user can set his own custom reminder for a task
  • Push notifications on all updates with the shared tasks
  • List view. Tasks are neatly organized into Overdue, Today, Tomorrow, Later and Someday lists
  • Map view. The assignee can instantly get directions to each address using his navigation app
  • Calendar view. Useful to spot the busiest days
  • Full text search and search by assignee available
  • Archived tasks can be exported to CSV
  • App available in 39 languages: Bengali, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Malay, Malayalam, Marathi, Norwegian, Odia, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese

Typical task / order processing flow in Veritask

  1. The task creator (admin / manager / dispatcher) assigns the task to one or several team members
  2. They receive push notifications that the task was assigned to them
  3. They can discuss the task and attach files to it (everyone involved will receive push notifications on all updates)
  4. Once the job is done, the assignee marks it as "completed"
  5. Task creator receives push notification that it was completed by the assignee and needs to be reviewed
  6. Task creator must either approve or decline task completion
  7. If declined, the task is returned to work. If approved, the task goes to archive

How self-assignment feature works

  1. The task is initially not assigned to anyone
  2. Every user who has access to the workspace receives push notification about this new "open" task
  3. The first user who claims the task becomes its assignee. From that moment, the task isn’t available to other users with basic rights
  4. The task processing then is like the typical assigned task flow described above
